Best creative advice I ever received: Make ugly art.
I now pass this on to you. And as I do, I expand it to include your writing, your dance, your business, any creative output.
If your creative output needs to be perfect/beautiful/whatever in order for you to do it, then you may never do it. And if you do not do it, you will suffer. Because it is in you to do. It wants out. Your resistance to its urge to move through you and out of you is a resistance to life itself.
Life itself is bigger than you. Surrender to the flow that is trying to push out through your images, your text, your body, your business.
The world has enough suffering. Here is permission: Make ugly art.
